My story
Abbie is a 30-year-old who has recently graduated as a yoga instructor after a successful and dynamic career as a professional dancer. Her yoga journey began in 2014 during her rigorous training for a career in dance. It was during this formative period that she quickly recognised her profound passion for yoga and her desire to transition into a teaching role after her dancing career.
From 2016 onward, Abbie had the privilege of performing on cruise ships and at various esteemed international venues. In addition to her captivating performances, she took on the responsibility of conducting yoga classes for fellow performers and guests, effectively sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge of yoga with a diverse audience.
However, like many in the performing arts, Abbie’s career faced an unexpected interruption during the pandemic. At that time, she was visiting her parents in France, where she developed a deep appreciation for the culture, lifestyle, and beauty of the country. This experience led her to make the significant decision to make France her permanent residence.
After the world began to reopen, Abbie confidently returned to the cruise ship industry, which allowed her to travel to a variety of remarkable destinations while performing regularly. In 2023, she decided to return to France with a clear objective: to further enhance her yoga expertise. Seizing the opportunity, she embarked on a transformative journey to Bali, where she undertook her yoga teacher training, enriching her knowledge and skills in the practice.
Currently, Abbie resides in the beautiful town of Saint Georges de Didonne, where she shares her life with her partner and their cats, Aton and Henry. In this stunning region, she passionately teaches yoga, dedicating herself to sharing her extensive knowledge and unwavering commitment to the practice with her students, fostering a welcoming and inspiring environment for all who attend her classes.
